Loomis is committed to reducing fuel emissions. One of the strategies employed is the switch to lighter vehicles. Loomis is also actively transitioning to electric vehicles, promoting the use of clean energy and contributing to a greener transportation fleet., secure transportation, and technology solutions.

Loomis is continuosly working to reduce its emissions from energy use and thus the Group's total climate impact. Loomis is focusing on two main activities: 
1: Energy efficiency improvement
2: Increased share of renewable energy​

Loomis needs to involve its suppliers in order to reduce its indirect Scope 3 emissions, i.e. all emissions in the value chain. Transformation can only happen through cooperation and active dialogue with the suppliers. In 2023 Loomis continued its efforts to map its value chain for a deeper understanding of the Company’s indirect emissions (Scope 3). From 2024, Loomis will also report Scope 3 emissions. The task of setting long-term and scientific climate targets is ongoing. Choosing responsible suppliers who share Loomis' values and sustainability ambitions is key to reducing emissions throughout the value chain.
